Doug’s Comic-Con Adventure! is brought to you by Veteran Beer Company: Distributed by Liquid Assets Distributing and Antiques & More at Staley Road.

I’ll be heading out to San Diego Comic-Con International and this is where I’ll be sharing my adventures, as well as over on my own page.  San Diego Comic-Con International is the biggest pop culture event of the year.  It’s more than just “comic books”.  It’s movies, and TV, and books, and art, and artists, and performers, and, yes, comic books.  Some of the biggest names in entertainment will be there this year.  Paramount Pictures, Dreamworks Animation, AMC, Game of Thrones, 20th Century Fox, Warner Bros. Pictures, Legendary Pictures, Marvel Studios, The CW, TNT, and more will all be bringing movies, shows and their casts to Comic-Con this year.

I’m going to do my best to talk to as many people as I possible can, take as many pictures as I possibly can, and get as much video as I possibly can.  And of course, I’ll share it with you.  The Convention is from Thursday 7/24 – Sunday 7/27, and I’ll be posting stuff here the whole time, as well as sharing it on the air on 92.5 The Chief.  But there’s so much happening that I’ll be posting audio, video and pictures; lots and lots of pictures even after the convention is over.

So keep checking back HERE every day, because I’ll be updating my plans, my schedule and who I’m going to be sitting down and talking with while I’m there.

Thanks for coming along with me on my Comic-Con Adventure!

REVIEW: ‘It Follows’ is the best American horror film in a decade

In this image released by Brigade Marketing, actress Maika Monroe appears in a scene of It Follows, directed by David Robert Mitchell. “It Follows,” has been arguably the buzziest American film at Cannes next to Bennett Miller’s wrestling drama “Foxcatcher,” which boasts a far more famous cast and a major premiere at the Palais des Festival.

"It Follows" is a horror movie worthy of classic comparisons.
