EAT THIS!

EAT THIS!

At 92.5 The Chief, we like to eat.  I’m pretty sure we all do.  I also like to play around in the kitchen; throwing stuff in a skillet, digging things out of the fridge, putting all kinds of stuff on a sandwich.  So I thought, let’s put our heads together and come up with new things to eat, so I give you EAT THIS!

Here’s the deal, my buddy Ryan and I are going to start making stuff in the kitchen, and then eating them.  But we want your input.  Every week we’ll give you an ingredient, it could be anything; peanut butter, avacado, pepperoni, etc…  Then you give us your food idea that uses that ingredient.  We’ll go through the suggestions and make one on the air and eat it.  We’ll give you credit for the idea/recipe.  Heck, we might even ask you in to try your concoction with us in the studio.

So put your chef’s hat, and your thinking hat on and help us EAT THIS!

This week we’re looking for your favorite dessert.  Could be cookies, brownies, cake, ice cream, pie, whatever.  Any combo you like.  Mix it up, mash it up, whatever.  Bring it on.

Celebrate safely with these fireworks tips

Since Independence Day falls during the work week, members of St. Richard Catholic Church celebrated the holiday on Sunday, June 30, 2013, with a picnic-style outing complete with fireworks that could be seen throughout the northeast Jackson, Miss. neighborhood.
