Illinois Marathon 2013

Illinois Marathon 2013

We are a proud partner of the Christie Clinic Illinois Marathon
Running? Volunteering? Cheering on friends and family? Join us Apr 25th through 27th for a weekend of fun! More details at IllinoisMarathon.com.

Pre-Race Show
We’ll be broadcasting LIVE from the starting line of the marathon, half-marathon, and 10K. We’ll have conversations with the ILM co-race directors, notable runners, runners dressed in costume, and traffic and weather information throughout the show. The show begins at 5am and will be co-hosted by Boston legend Kathrine Switzer.

Ribbons for Boston
To help the victims of the bombings at the Boston Marathon, we’ll be taking donations for stickers with the image of a ribbon on them; the ribbon is made from a shoelace. All proceeds will go to The One Fund Boston. You can get yours at the Health and Fitness Expo at ARC Thursday and Friday, near the start line Saturday, and at the “27th Mile” after the race.

Volunteer Team
Join the Volunteer Team! There are lots of opportunities to help, but most important is being on the course, blocking traffic and cheering on runners. For a few hours of fun, you’ll get a free T-shirt and string bag! Click here to volunteer!

Marathon Minutes
Each week, we talk with a different marathon expert as we count down the weeks until the biggest event in Champaign-Urbana. Hear all the Marathon Minutes now.
