Boston drummer moonlights as high school teacher

WINDHAM, Maine (AP) — It’s not a bad way for a teacher to spend summer vacation: playing drums for the band Boston.

Jeff Neal has been Boston’s drummer since 2002.

When the band is not on tour, he’s a high school social studies teacher.

Neal tells WGME-TV he’s not giving up the day job. He says music is his passion and teaching is his profession.
