5 Rabbit is turning into one of our favorite breweries.  If you remember, we had their 5 Lizard back in July.  We liked that just fine.  This week, we give their 5 Vulture a try.  It says it’s brewed with ancho chili, so I was expecting it to be a prominent part of the flavor.  But it wasn’t.  It was there, adding some texture to the beer itself, and it was there on the finish.  But it didn’t dominate, and I was good with that.  I really liked this beer.  It’s fairly unique.  Dark, smooth, with some sweet, but not too sweet, and a peppery finish.

Ryan broke the mold by giving it a 7.7, so Shane decided to go with a 7.2.  I gave it a straight up 8.0.  We all liked it.  I say give this one a shot.  It’s different.  It’s good.  Plus, when you pair it up with Shane’s suggestion of a sausage sandwich with marinara and peppers, I think you’ll be diggin’ it.
