Shane from Rosati’s joins me and Matt again this week for another round of beer/food pairings.  And this time around we’ve got Anger from Greenbush Brewing Co.  This is a beefy beer.  I mean this thing pours dark, has a full nose on it, and hits your mouth with a face full of flavor.  It’s dark and roasty with some chocolate/coffee overtones, yet still has a dark, malty sweetness to it.  All the while, it’s full on hopped with a mouth full of bitterness.  Now, I’m not the biggest fan of hoppy bitterness, but this kind of works for me.  The underlying flavor is so big, that the bitterness works well here.

With such a big flavor, Shane thinks you need some meat to stand up to it.  He recommends the grilled BBQ Pork Chop from Rosati’s.  So when you grab yourself some Anger this weekend, call Rosati’s at 217-328-2334 and have ‘em deliver some Grilled BBQ Pork Chops your way.

Matt gives it an 8.5, while I give it a rock solid 8.  This beer isn’t for the faint of heart.

REVIEW: ‘It Follows’ is the best American horror film in a decade

In this image released by Brigade Marketing, actress Maika Monroe appears in a scene of It Follows, directed by David Robert Mitchell. “It Follows,” has been arguably the buzziest American film at Cannes next to Bennett Miller’s wrestling drama “Foxcatcher,” which boasts a far more famous cast and a major premiere at the Palais des Festival.

"It Follows" is a horror movie worthy of classic comparisons.
