Rosatis

On Tap is brought to you by Rosati’s Pizza, 701 S. Gregory, Urbana.

This week the entire crew is back together, and nothing says together like a cold bottle of Moose Drool, from Big Sky Brewing Co.  Not going to lie, I picked this one up for two reasons: 1) The name 2) My wife tried it while on vacation and loved it so I thought, why not?

Moose Drool is a brown ale, in their words, “The worlds premier brown ale”.  I don’t konw if I’d go that far, but man is it good.  It’s rich, dark, nutty, and smooth, but doesn’t come across too heavy.  For a brown ale, this is pretty smooth and refreshing.  I have to say, it lives up to most of it’s own hype.  Big Sky claims it’s extremely drinkable and goes great with almost any food… And they’re right.  It’s really drinkable.  I mean, really drinkable.  And yes, it goes great with everything Shane brought in.  So our recomendation: Pick up a six of Moose Drool, then order what ever you want from Rosati’s and you’ll be set.

Ratings:
Me:  6.5
Ryan:  7.5
DJ Squish:  7.75
Shane:  7.0

Over all, this is a very solid, approachable, friendly, brown ale.  Highly recommended.
