We enjoyed last weeks beer from James Page Brewing, that we went back to them for this weeks beer.  This time it’s Casper White Stout.  This is another beer that we weren’t sure what we were getting into since it’s a stout, but it’s a white stout.  We had no idea what to expect.

What we got was a beer that was yellow/gold in color, but packed in a bunch of flavor, kind of like a stout.  It was definitely creamy, and carried some sweet whipped cream/cream soda over tones.  But it had some hops kick to it.  Shane kept getting a boozey candy vibe as did Ryan, but they couldn’t quite place the candy.  There’s a hint of chocolate lurking in there somewhere, so maybe that’s it.  Overall, we all three liked it.

Shane’s Rating:  7.5

Ryan’s Rating:  8.5

My Rating:  7.0

We all agreed that we would buy this again.  But since it’s a different kind of stout, Shane came up with the genius idea of pairing Casper with Baked Mostaccioli with chicken and follow that with some Tiramisu.  I think that’s a winner right there.

Shkreli has bragged that he had no plans to listen to the album, but bought it to "keep it from the people."
