On Tap is brought to you by Rosati’s Pizza, 701 S. Gregory, Urbana.

This week, we’ve got an interesting little brew from Anderson Valley Brewing from Boonville California: The Kimmie, The Yink, and the Holy Gose Ale.  It’s part of their Highway 128 Session Series.

This was the most argued over beer we’ve ever had.  For those who don’t know, a Gose is a sour wheat ale from Germany.  Ryan and I immediately picked up on the sour aspects of it, getting a lot of lemon, salt, with a wheat finish.  Shane and DJ Squish, didn’t agree… at all.  Even our friend Nevin who stopped by didn’t find it sour.  For Squish, the thought it was sweet (which I still don’t get), and Shane and Nevin found it crisp and refreshing.

Ratings:
Me: 8.0
Ryan: 8.0
Shane: 7.5
Squish: 2.4
Nevin: 7.5

So even though there was arguing over the flavor, all but Squish liked this beer.

However, Shand feels that everything would pair well with this thing.  I’m not going to argue, but I will say the lasagna went extremely nice.

REVIEW: In-fighting is entertaining in ‘Captain America: Civil War’

13-overlay

"Civil War" stands out as certainly the biggest of the stand-alones, and among the best because of what it has in common with the better films in the Marvel universe: the conflict is deeply human, told humorously, and best enjoyed if you don't overthink it.
