CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – The Rantoul Family Sports Complex (RFSC) is now partnering with Busey Bank as a sponsor of the development of a 40’x40’ Pavilion. The new pavilion will be located next to the Veteran’s Memorial at the Sports Complex. It will serve as a venue for memorial events and can also be reserved by the community when baseball and softball activities are not in session.

“We are excited to add this pavilion to the complex,” said Ryan Reid, Director of Sports Operations. “With baseball and softball played here nearly every weekend, having a covered area for teams to enjoy concessions, hold team meetings, or simply take a break from the sun will be incredibly beneficial. It’s something we’ve wanted since the facility opened.”

Mayor Chuck Smith also expressed his appreciation, noting, “The Busey Bank Pavilion will be a tremendous addition to the Sports Complex, and we’re grateful for Busey’s continued support of Rantoul, not only through this pavilion but also with their new location on the West side of town.”

For more information about the pavilion or the Rantoul Family Sports Complex, please contact Ryan Reid, Director of Sports Operations at (217) 893-5731 or via email at rreid@myrantoul.com.
