C-U Comedy to host live show from Illini Union

URBANA, IL (Chambana Today) — C-U Comedy will be hosting a live stand-up show from the Courtyard Cafe inside the Illini Union at 1401 W Green in Urbana on Friday, March 27 at 8 p.m.

Comedian Leslie Mitchell, the winner of the “Funniest Person in Iowa” competition, and Jake Jager, the 2025 Midwest Comedy Competition winner in Peoria, and more.

The show is a part of the U of of I’s “Funny Fridays” series. The show is open to the public, and there is no cover charge to attend, and student improv will run from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.  The stand up show starts at 8 p.m. immediately following. There is street parking available around the building on campus.

This is also a no alcohol show (as it takes place in a university building) – there is a coffee shop inside the Courtyard Cafe.
