CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) — CATsNAP is inviting the community to attend upcoming adoption open house events aimed at connecting local cats with new homes.

The events will take place April 11 and April 18 from 12 to 3 p.m. at CATsNAP’s facility, located at 1713 S. State St. in Champaign. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet a variety of adoptable cats and learn more about the adoption process.

Organizers say visitors can browse available cats ahead of time on the organization’s website and request to meet a specific animal, or simply attend the event and interact with cats in person to find a good match.

CATsNAP also encourages potential adopters not to overlook shy or older cats, noting that they can make especially loving companions.

Reservations are required to attend the open house. Those interested can RSVP in advance at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfqYGVcpUwlmJh5i7aJvuUPBnCVTZj_eIiLOab-U_F0SUtA2g/viewform.
