CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – Champaign County Crime Stoppers is seeking assistance from the public regarding a retail theft.

The theft occurred on January 18 when at approximately 7:55 p.m., three males entered Meijer at 2500 South Philo Road in Urbana. They then proceeded to the electronics department and took a 50-inch TV. Afterwards, they headed to the checkout area and split up. Two of the men distracted an employee and the other man left without being confronted. The suspects then fled with the TV valued at $200.00.

The three males were described as black and from 18 to 25 years old. Their descriptions are as follows:

  • Suspect 1 – Male, wearing a gray hoodie, black jeans, and black shoes
  • Suspect 2 – Male, wearing a medical mask, blue Champion hoodie, black jeans, and black shoes
  • Suspect 3 – Male, wearing a medical mask, black puffy jacket, gray distressed jeans, and black shoes
