CHICAGO, IL (Chambana Today) – Ashur Al Rahib of Chicago scratched off a $10 lottery ticket to reveal a $1 million prize. The lucky ticket, purchased at a Mobil gas station in the city’s West Ridge neighborhood, turned the regular customer into an instant millionaire.

The winning ticket was a $10 Red Hot Millions scratch-off. The Mobil gas station, located at 2500 W. Peterson Avenue, has become a lucky spot. In the past two years, it has sold tickets worth $25,000 and $50,000, adding to the sense of fortune surrounding the location. For selling the $1 million ticket, the Mobil gas station will receive a one percent bonus, or $10,000.

This marks another win for the Illinois Lottery, which has already sold over 10.7 million scratch-off tickets this year, totaling more than $279 million in prizes.
