Crime Stoppers requests public’s assistance with smoke shop burglary

CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – Champaign County Crime Stoppers is requesting the public’s assistance regarding a burglary that was reported recently.

The burglary happened on December 7, 2024, at approximately 1:00 a.m. and there are two suspects. The suspects shattered the glass door at Red Fox Smoke Shop at 1722 West Bradley Avenue in Champaign. They then entered the smoke shop and grabbed tobacco and multiple smoking devices. They then quickly fled the scene with nearly $700.00 worth of merchandise.

The suspects have been captured on video and are described as black males with medium builds. One subject was wearing a dark green balaclava, black jacket, black pants, and a gray backpack. The other suspect wore a white or gray balaclava, black jacket, black pants, and carried a black bag.
