URBANA, Ill. (Chambana Today) — As the holiday season approaches, Cunningham Children’s Home is inviting the community to help brighten the holidays for local youth through its annual Christmas Giving Programs. From shopping for a child’s wish list to hosting an “Angel Tree,” there are several ways to spread joy and support children in need.

Donors can also purchase gifts from Cunningham’s general Christmas Wish List and drop off unwrapped items at the Spiritual Life Center, 1301 N. Cunningham Avenue in Urbana, by Friday, December 12. Gifts may also be ordered directly through Cunningham’s Amazon Wish List, updated frequently online.

To teach youth about generosity, Cunningham operates a Kids’ Shop, where residents choose gifts for loved ones. Donations of bath and body sets, candles, wallets, and small gift items are appreciated by December 5.

Organizations and businesses can also participate by hosting an Angel Tree, displaying tags with gift requests for community members to fulfill. For more information or to get involved, contact Colleen Combes or visit www.cunninghamhome.org.
