CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – Roger Ebert’s Film Festival, or Ebertfest, has revealed the final three films for this year’s lineup, set for April 23-26 at the Virginia Theatre in downtown Champaign. The films are Francis Ford Coppola’s Megalopolis, Walter Salles’ I’m Still Here, and Lotte Reiniger’s The Adventures of Prince Achmed.

Coppola will join the festival virtually for a Q&A following the screening of Megalopolis, while Michael Barker from Sony Pictures Classics will discuss I’m Still Here. The Anvil Orchestra will perform live during the screening of The Adventures of Prince Achmed.

Chaz Ebert, CEO of Rogerebert.com and cofounder of the festival, shared her excitement for the event, emphasizing the emotional connection the films foster with audiences. She also expressed her gratitude for Roger Ebert’s vision that continues to shape the festival.

Newly announced guests include actresses Carrie Coon and Jane Levy, along with critics such as Michael Phillips and Richard Roeper. The festival will open with The Searchers and close with The Hangover. Ebertfest tickets and passes are now available for purchase.
