CHAMPAIGN-URBANA (Chambana Today) — The H.O.Y.C.E. Center is now accepting registrations for its annual holiday gift drive, offering support to families with children from birth to age 17. Registration runs through Tuesday, Dec. 2, and requests will be fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Families who register will be able to pick up gifts on Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Urbana Park District Wellness Center, located at 2002 E. Washington St. Gift distribution will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This year, the H.O.Y.C.E. Center has set a goal of serving 600 young people across Champaign County. To reach that target, the organization is calling on local residents, businesses, and community groups to lend support. Volunteers are needed, and donations of new toys, clothing, books, and other gift items can be dropped off at participating locations countywide.

Organizers say sponsoring a child, donating items, or simply helping spread the word can make a meaningful difference for area families facing financial challenges this holiday season.

More information, including registration details and ways to donate or volunteer, is available through the H.O.Y.C.E. Center’s website.
