Illini alert issued early this morning for an armed subject in Urbana

URBANA, IL (Chambana Today) — An Illini Alert was issued  at 2:38 a.m. early Sunday morning, indicating that there was an armed subject near Goodwin and Nevada in Urbana. Police urged residents to avoid the area. At the time, police believed the subject had fled the scene. At 3:02 a.m., another Illini Alert was issued to allow anyone to return to the area and it was clear to resume all activities.
