CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) — A local heating and cooling company is giving back to first responders with a free air conditioner giveaway, and the deadline to nominate someone or apply is this Saturday, May 10.

All-Pro Heating Air Conditioning & Plumbing is offering one full-time or volunteer first responder or dispatcher a new air conditioner and evaporator coil, installed at no charge. Applicants must be homeowners. All other applicants who are not selected will receive 10 percent off a quoted system through the end of May.

Owner Miles Cantrall, himself a volunteer firefighter and EMT, said the giveaway is a way to recognize the sacrifices first responders make every day.

“I have witnessed firsthand the amount of effort and time these men and women put in to helping the community,” Cantrall said. “We offer this free air conditioner for a little peace of mind for these hard working individuals to come home to.”

To apply or nominate a first responder, call All-Pro at (217) 599-1046. The deadline is Saturday, May 10.
