Champaign, IL (Chambana Today) – No. 22 Michigan State women’s basketball beat Illinois 86-68 on Sunday at the State Farm Center. The Spartans secured their third straight victory and their second consecutive Big Ten road win, improving to 15-3 overall and 5-2 in conference play.
For Illinois, Kendall Bostic shone with a double-double, finishing with 20 points and 14 rebounds. Bostic, a former Spartan who transferred to Illinois, was a bright spot for the Illini in an otherwise challenging game.
