Champaign Jewelers is a locally owned fine jewelry store located in the Shoppes of Knollwood. Champaign Jewelers specializes in fine diamonds, engagement and wedding rings along with diamond and color gemstone fashion jewelry. Costume Jewelry Design, Jewelry repair and Appraisal services are also available.

Owner, Kari Johnson Smith, is a Graduate Gemologist (G.G.) through the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). The requirements of a G.G. degree include diamond identification and grading, color gem identification and grading and pearl grading. Kari is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a degree in economics who decided to stay in the great city of Champaign after graduation. Kari enjoys working with clients to find or create the perfect item to celebrate life’s special occasions.
