A Little Bit of Awesome: 1/4/2021 Edition

Dr. Omar Atiq is awesome. He’s a cancer doctor from Arkansas who just closed his practice to start teaching. And, as he left his practice, he wrote off $650,000 worth of his patients’ medical debt.
He sent letters to 200 people for Christmas to let them know they didn’t have to worry about it anymore. Dude is awesome.

These folks up in Canada are pretty awesome. A bunch of Tim Horton customers started a GoFundMe page to help one of the drive-thru workers raise money for college. So far, they’ve raised $20,000 and surprised him with the good news at work. Check out their full story RIGHT HERE.

Ben Berman is awesome. He’s been raising money for charity by literally dropping pizza from his window. He makes pizza in his kitchen, and uses a pulley system to drop them to people from his second-story window. And instead of charging, he asks them to donate to charity.
So far, Ben has raised over $30,000 during the pandemic. That’s some awesome pizza.
