A Little Bit of Awesome: 10/15/18 Edition

Def Leppard is awesome. I listened to a ton of Def Lep growing up. And Christmas is awesome. Well now, those two worlds combine with Def Leps new holiday song, “We All Need Christmas”.

I want this job. Seriously awesome. Comparing food to see what has the most bang for your buck? Yeah. I want that gig.

This pilots skills are flat out awesome. I don’t think the passengers thought the landing was awesome while it was happening, but man, he stuck that landing.

Speaking of sticking the landing, U.S. gymnast Simone Biles made history last Thursday at the 2018 U.S. Women’s World Team Selection Camp in Sarasota, Florida. She completed a vault that no one has ever done before.
According to gymnastic lingo, it was a “Yurchenko with a half turn on with a stretched salto forward with two turns.” Somebody else described it as a “back handspring-half twist” onto the vault table . . . and then a “front double full” off of it.
No matter how you explain it, she was the first to nail it . . . and if she does it at the World Championships in Qatar, they’ll probably start calling it “The Biles.”
