A Little Bit of Awesome: 10/16/2020 Edition

Another COVID survivor got to meet the plasma donor who saved them. 32-year-old Unique Edwards almost died in June. But a woman who’d already beaten the virus donated plasma. Her name is Kris Klug, and her antibodies helped Unique beat it too. They just got to meet up for the first time on Tuesday. Check out their full story RIGHT HERE.


A group called the Fixit Clinic helps people repair their old appliances and electronics instead of throwing them out. They had to stop holding events when the pandemic hit. So they decided to roll with it . . . started doing classes on Zoom instead . . . and now they’re reaching even more people. A guy named Peter Mui started the whole thing, and says it’s about more than just fixing stuff.


Julia, a 19-year-old in New York posted a TikTok video on Tuesday showing if you squat down in a specific pair of pleather pants from Zara, it makes a very loud flatulence sound.
