A Little Bit of Awesome: 10/8/2020 Edition

A 48-year-old guy from Long Island named Scott Cohen almost died of COVID in April. But he got plasma from a woman named Abbie Park who’d already beaten the virus. And her antibodies helped him beat it too. They just met up in person for the first time on Tuesday, and he thanked her for saving his life.

Earlier this year, a guy in New York named Woody Latour started hanging posters outside his house with lame dad jokes on them, just to lift people’s spirits. And he’s still at it. Here’s one he posted a picture of on Facebook this week: “Out of all the inventions in the last 100 years, the dry erase board is probably the most RE-MARKABLE.”

CNN reporter Joe Johns has gone viral with his “raccoon encounter” on the White House lawn on Tuesday.

Security cam in this couple’s kitchen filmed the woman falling over a chair, and the guy at the table NOT moving an inch to help. All he does is criticize her for drinking too much.
