A Little Bit of Awesome: 11/20/19 Edition

Australia has been dealing with catastrophic brushfires that have killed at least three people, and countless animals. At least we have one “good news” video making the rounds. It’s a woman who risked her life to rescue a koala in a burning forest. It’s clinging to a tree so she pulls it away and rests it on the ground to douse its body with water. And then she wraps it in a blanket and hands it off to first responders.

Two cops in Virginia responded to a crash on Friday, and pulled a 57-year-old woman from a burning car JUST in time. One of their chest-cams got the whole thing on video. The woman ended up being airlifted to a hospital in serious but stable condition, and no one else was in the car.

Talked about this hotel today. You can get a room for just $1. Seriously. Yes there’s a catch. You will be livestreamed to their YouTube channel the entire time. Here’s a link if you’re interested.

If that’s not your jam, here’s a link to a hotel room that is tricked out like Buddy The Elf from the movie Elf. Honestly, it’s a bit much for me, but still pretty awesome.

That is one realistic plastic deer. The link is RIGHT HERE.

Slight Warning: Things get a bit frisky for the deer, so click at your own risk.

This is just crazy, not so much awesome, but crazy.
