A Little Bit of Awesome: 2/26/19 Edition

A guy in San Diego who runs a small independent book store had to have emergency open heart surgery last month. And his wife couldn’t run the store and take care of him and their three-year-old daughter at the same time. So they had to close . . . but not for long, because friends at rival book stores all chipped in, worked for free, and kept the store open while he recovered. Check out the full story RIGHT HERE.

Tony Hawk posted a video where he helps his 10-year-old daughter go down a skate ramp for the first time. She’s apprehensive, and he comes across like any dad. He said she was “overcoming her fear in real time,” and he “might have been more nervous than she was.”

The boys are back with more tricks.
