A Little Bit of Awesome: 3/22/2021 Edition

Sedona Prince is awesome. She’s a forward for the Oregon Ducks women’s basketball team. And she pointed out the huge difference between the men’s weight room at the NCAA tournament and the women’s weight room. And the NCAA said it was a lack of space, not money, that was the reason. But Sedona pointed out that wasn’t exactly true.

Once this story started making the rounds, the NCAA apologized and upgraded the women’s facilities.
Good for Sedona for getting them to do the right thing. She’s awesome.

Dinkie Flowers is awesome. Not only does she have one of the coolest names ever, she’s a former professional dancer, and at the age of 99, she’s still dancing.
Now, Dinkie is raising money for charity by doing 45-minute dance sessions three times a week until her 100th birthday in May.
She’s awesome.

Andrew and Marlee recently got married on a dock at Lake Tahoe, and it was awesome… right up until Andrew dropped Marlee’s ring in the water. Luckily, they found a scuba diver on Facebook, and he went looking the next day. And because of their quick action, Marlee now has her ring back.
That’s an awesome story they can tell their kids for years to come.
