A Little Bit of Awesome: 4/1/2020 Edition

John Mikulski is the founder of a company called Far East Holdings that deals with a lot of shipments from China.  And through the connections he has, he managed to get 10 million face masks sent to hospitals in Illinois.  He needed the money immediately, before someone else bought them.  So the state cut him a check for $12.9 million.  There was some confusion at the bank when he tried to cash the check.  But he refused to leave until they figured it out.  Check out his full story RIGHT HERE.

Suncoast News reporter Jessica Lang was on quarantine and recording in her kitchen, when she realized working from home has some unexpected challenges.

Two healthcare workers in Pennsylvania skipped their “dream” wedding, and got married on their back deck instead.  Neighbors dressed up and watched from their yards.  They set up a computer, so their family and friends could watch online.  And even the officiant video-conferenced in.

This cop is awesome for giving these people some motivation and a grin.
