A Little Bit of Awesome: 4/27/18 Editon

Sometimes, the kindness of strangers can be awesome. Like when Corey Simmons was riding the subway in New York last week was trying to study fractions because his son needed help in school, and out of nowhere a former math teacher happened to sit next to him. The teacher walked him through the lesson, and a woman sitting across from them took a picture, so of course the internet loves it.

Check out the story and pic HERE.

There’s another awesome edition of Hot Ones, and this time it’s Alton Brown in the hot seat. You get to see his reaction to the hot wings and maybe learn some stuff from this uber smart chef type guy.

An English adventurer named Will Millard went to the jungles of New Guinea to study the Korowai people who still live in tree houses and use stone tools. It ended up as a two-part series on the BBC called “My Year With the Tribe”.
In one clip a tribesman inserts a grub into Will’s ear to clear out the waxy buildup. And it works. He can actually hear it eating the wax. It eventually comes out on its own.
WARNING: He says the F-word at 1:07, and [J-C] at 1:09. And you can see visible male genitalia at 0:47. You’ve been warned. Seriously, if you’re offended by language, just skip this one.

Crazy Russian Hacker gives us another awesome kitchen gadget review. This time around it’s the Ultimate Breakfast Machine…
So, is it? We’ll see…
