A Little Bit of Awesome: 4/3/19 Edition

A single mom in Nevada has been struggling recently, and didn’t have a car. So her 13-year-old son got on Facebook . . . found a cheap 1999 Chevy Metro . . . and traded his Xbox for it. He says he got the idea after he saw YouTube videos of people surprising their mom with a new car.

A high school robotics team in Minnesota built a motorized wheelchair for a two-year-old boy. He has a genetic condition with symptoms that resemble cerebral palsy, and a real motorized wheelchair would have cost over $20,000. So the dad emailed his old high school, threw the idea out to the robotics team, and they were up for it. They took a Power Wheels riding toy, installed all new electrical equipment, and replaced the components using a 3D printer. Check out the full story RIGHT HERE.

Tickets for the new “Avengers” movie went on sale yesterday . . . even though it doesn’t come out for three more weeks. So they also released yet another trailer, to keep the superhero nerds happy.

This is awesome.
