A high school basketball player pulled off an amazing solo alley-oop slam dunk this week. He tossed the ball up from behind the three-point line, caught the bounce off the backboard in midair, and dunked it.
That alone was awesome. But there was a kid was filming in the stands when it happened, and his reaction sounds like “Tom and Jerry” . . . when Jerry would set Tom on fire.

Speaking of Tom and Jerry…
- Kids are awesome.
- Kids with accents are awesomely cute.
- Kids giving directions are uber awesome.
Here’s a little guy giving directions to a place in Kentucky called Bear Creek. Pretty sure he’s spot on.
Check out what the Windows 95 startup chime sounds like when you slow it down by 4000%. You could hypnotize people with it. And yes, it’s been around for a while, but man, it’s awesome.
I saw this the other day and was fascinated by it. This is apparently a low cost DIY art project that people in Japan are currently digging right now. I don’t think I have the patience to make this happen, but if you do, that’s awesome.
