A Little Bit of Awesome: 4/5/18 Edition

Admit it. Saxaphones are awesome, but not that portable. Lucky for you there’s a Kickstarter campaign for a pocket saxophone called the Saxmonica. They only wanted six grand and in two days they raised more than $54,000. (The name makes it sound like it’s part harmonica, but it works like a recorder with a saxophone reed and a mouthpiece.) So if you’re into that, you can check it out HERE.

Sometimes being wrong can turn out surprisingly right. A couple in Oregon Cassandra Warren and Jesse Jones, sent out a wedding invitation to the wrong address, and the person at the house sent it back with a cash gift and a handwritten note. They used the money to treat a friend for dinner, a soldier who can’t make the wedding because he’s deploying. See, a whole pile of awesome for everyone.

You can get more HERE.

Pro-Tip: How not to pass your driver’s test… And no, this wasn’t a teenager taking the test for the first time. Nope. She’s 46-year-old and managed to accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake and backed through a window where people were standing in line. Granted, this wouldn’t be that awesome for her, but everyone’s basically chill reaction to a car driving through a wall is pretty awesome. Besides, she now has a pretty awesome story for parties and whatnot.
