Helen Danis, of West Warwick, Rhode Island, never went to prom, because her parents couldn’t afford a dress during the Depression. So her granddaughter bought her a prom dress, and got permission to take her to a local high school prom last Friday. And they named her honorary prom queen. So at 97, she finally got to go to her very first prom. Check out her awesome night RIGHT HERE.

A high school runner in California won the state championship in the 800 meters on Saturday, after qualifying last week in a race where she stopped to help another runner who had fallen. Just awesome sportsmaship all around.
