A Little Bit of Awesome: 8/27/18 Edition

These guys are awesome. Some truck drivers in Wisconsin organized a huge surprise for a kid’s birthday this month. His name is Dakota Cadd, and he has cerebral palsy. He likes to sit out in his yard next to the highway and wave at passing truckers, so they’ll honk their horns for him. A trucker named Mark King put a word out and got hundreds of truckers to bring their rigs to one spot, so Dakota could celebrate his birthday with all of them. Check out this bit of awesome RIGHT HERE.

Ok, this bit of awesome is more of the “What just happened?” kind. NBC was airing a rerun of “America’s Got Talent” on Saturday night when the news broke that John McCain had died. They cut away to a live report . . . and then right back “regularly schedule programming”, which, was awesome. Sort of.
