A Little Bit of Awesome: 8/3/2020 Edition

Bev Boro works at a care facility in Fremont, Nebraska, and saw 73-year-old Doris Crippen’s name on her list of patients. And she started putting two and two together, and realized, this was her long lost sister.
Doris recently beat the virus, and was there recovering. They’d been trying to track each other down for decades, but hadn’t been able to.

Arvid Loewen, a 63 yer-old grandfather from Canada, beat record for kilometres biked in a month on Wednesday night in Manitoba. He biked over 7,000 miles in a month. He helped raise a ton of money for a charity called Mully Children’s Family that helps kids in Kenya. He raised over $350,000 Canadian, or just over $260,000 U.S.

The only reason this is awesome is because it didn’t happen to me. But a wedding video has surfaced from a few years ago where a mom starts yelling at the bride because of what she said about her son in the vows.

What has Annabelle the possessed doll been doing during quarantine?
