A Little Bit of Awesome: 9/15/2020 Edition

An electrician in Massachusetts named John Kinney recently showed up at a 72-year-old Gloria Scott’s house to fix a light, and her whole home was in disrepair. So he just started fixing stuff for free, and then other people offered to help. In the last month, they’ve replaced all the electrical, the plumbing, the windows, and more. And people have donated over $96,000 to help pay for it.


A strawberry farmer in Wisconsin decided to plant sunflowers this year to get people outside, put a smile on their face, and make some extra money. He planted two million of them. And for $25, your whole family gets to walk through the field and pick a dozen sunflowers to take home.

Remember that 10-year-old that challenged Dave Grohl to a drum-off? Well, he admits she won round one and recorded this song just for her.
