Doug’s Comic-Con Adventure: The Book of Life Press Conference

This “adventure” made me the envy of several of the ladies in the office due to one mans presence: Channing Tatum. But for me, I was equally exited to see Christina Applegate, Ron Perlman, and Writer/Director Jorge Gutierrez and Producer Guillermo del Toro. All of these people I like and respect. And they were all there promoting the animate feature, The Book of Life.

I’ve got a snippet of video from the press conference, but again, I had no tripod, because plans, so it’s a bit shaky. But the full audio is really fun. Jorge and Guillermo talk bringing this feature to life, Christina talks about how she was pitched this movie, and Ron discusses why this movie is “dazzling”. Unfortunately, ladies, Channing does say a whole lot, and my pics of him aren’t the best due to poor lighting and distance. But trust me when I say, yes, he’s just that good looking in person.

Doug’s Comic-Con Adventure! is brought to you by Veteran Beer Company: Distributed by Liquid Assets Distributing and Antiques & More at Staley Road.
