Rockin’ Comics: Episode 005 Recaps and Whatnots

Holy cats! We’re back! So glad to be back in the swing of things. I tell ya, Comic Con was amazing, but it really took a lot out of me. Of course, I also took a vacation during Comic Con so that ate up some time. Then the day job, then life happened, but now we’re back. It’s another fun round of Rebooted Rockin’ Comics action with Colby and I.

I recount a few Comic Con happenings, then we dig into the couple of week’s comics, we pick two Rockin’ Comics of the Week. Plus, this week, it’s a new mini feature. Since the reboot, I’ve wanted to work more music into the podcast, so today we have The Breakdown. That’s where I’ll play a part of a song I really dig. It could be the breakdown, it could be the chorus, or just the opening riff, or the solo. Just something cool to give you some insight into my little music mind. This week, it’s Way Faux El Diablo from Player Kommander. It’s the opening of the song and it rocks out loud. Then I throw a little bit of Comic Con action your way, including a really cool Brian Wilson story from Tom Kenny from the Annoying Orange presser. Finally, we wrap up with Colby’s review of DC’s Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox DVD. It’s a full episode, and just a bit over my self imposed :30 minute time limit.

(As always, this podcast is done by adults, for adults.  If certain colorful language offends you, I’ll apologize now, but after that, you’ve been warned.)
