So last week we heard about Arby’s “Meat Mountain”. Arby’s has been promoting their new sandwiches, the Mega Meat Stacks. Don’t get me wrong, these things are delicious and plenty of food all on their own. But in promoting these sandwiches, Arby’s has been using a poster of all of their meats stacked up on top of each other. Which had people asking, “Can I get that Meat Mountain in the poster?” The answer is, yes, yes you can.
So Wendesday, Ryan went out in search of the Meat Mountain locally and the fine folk over at the Arby’s on Springfield were more than happy to set him up with a couple so we could give them a good old fashioned taste test.
In a word… Delicious. In another word, meaty. This thing is everything you imagine it to be. I will say, I could have used some Arby’s sauce on it. Ryan suggested maybe adding the cheddar sauce from the Beef and Cheddar. But it’s plenty on it’s own.
Here’s what’s in it:
2 chicken tenders
1.5 oz. of roast turkey
1.5 oz. of ham
1 slice of Swiss cheese
1.5 oz. of corned beef
1.5 oz. brisket
1.5 oz. of Angus steak
1 slice of cheddar cheese
1.5 oz. roast beef
3 half-strips of bacon
Now, this isn’t the cheapest sandwich you’ll get, but it’s a meal and a half by itself.
