The Scoop for April 10, 2019

Remember Johnny Manziel? He was a big deal in college football, kind of a bust in Cleveland for the Browns, he was asked to leave the Canadian Football League and most recently was playing for the probably defunct AAF. And in between he’s made plenty of questionable decisions. Well now, Johnny says he’s grown up.
“I actually go by John these days”
I’m sure that’ll fix things right up. I can hear it now, “Now playing for the XFL, Mr. John Manziel.” You know that’s gonna happen.

So seemingly out of no where, Magic Johnson stepped down as president of basketball operations for the Lakers. There seems to be no hard feelings though as Magic was very complimentary of Lakers owner Jeanie Buss.
Here’s the weird thing about that… Magic didn’t tell her about his announcement before he did it. That’s not a good way to keep that relationship strong, Magic, just FYI.

Speaking of celebs quitting, Sara Gilbert’s leaving the “The Talk” at the end of this season. Quitter. Actually, that’s 100% fine. She can do what she wants. Since she’s quitting to spend more time with her fam, I’m totally on board with that.

BONUS SCOOPAGE:

David Hasselhoff is working on an album. That is all.
