The Scoop for April 10, 2020

Everyone has been affected by the Coronavirus, even celebs. Take Pink. She and her 3-year old son both had it, but it wasn’t like you think.
She never had a fever.
But she has had asthma her entire life, and one night she woke up and just couldn’t breathe.
And she thought, “of all the crazy stuff I did, this is it?”
I know. I lived through monkey bars over concrete and yard darts, but a virus could be the end of me? Crazy.

Hot One is one of my favorite YouTube shows ever. Sean Evans is just a terrific host. Anyway, Justin Timberlake is the latest guest and he talks about his first musical collab with SNL, you know the one. D in a B. He says they finished filming that bit, and the FCC said, well, you know you can’t say that right?
“Oh right. But if you bleep it?”
So they did. And oddly, Justin likes that version better. I think he’s right. The bleeped version is funnier.

President Trump was talking about the economy after the coronavirus and he had this to say.
He has a “strong feeling” the economy will bounce back quickly.
I think we all know that feelings aren’t facts, and he was pretty clear he has zero data to back up his feeling… But, and this is a pretty big but, but, if this guy was ever going to wish something into existence, I’d be happy if this was the one. I’ll give him all the credit for it too. I’ll be the one saying, “Remember when we were scared things were going to be wrecked for ages, but Trump said, Nope, we’re good? He did it.”
