The Scoop for April 15, 2020

I get it, things are weird. I mean, we’ve got Dr. Fauci as one of the most talked about celebs at the moment. But today, it isn’t all doom and gloom from America’s viral celeb, nope.

“I’m a very cautious person, but we are seeing some light at the end of the tunnel.”

There you go. We’re getting there guys. No joke, just hope right now, and fingers crossed the worst is behind us.

So Amy Schumer did something a lot of celebrities don’t or won’t do. And that’s fixed a mistake. She changed her baby’s middle name. His name is now Gene David Fischer, but that wasn’t then name they originally gave him.

His name was Gene Attell Fischer”, but changed it to “Gene DAVID Fischer,” after realizing his original name sounded like “genital”.  Gene’s middle name is still an homage to Amy’s friend Dave Attell . . . and it’s also Amy’s father’s middle name.

I mean, you would think they would have noticed sooner. You know, like every time they introduced their son and everyone just kind of snickered a little bit.

Ricky Gervais is the best. He’s taking on Hollywood once again. Because, like a lot of us, he doesn’t want to hear celebrities complain about quarantining.

He says, quote, “People are doing 14-hour shifts and not complaining . . . But then I see someone complaining about being in a mansion with a swimming pool.  And, you know, honestly, I just don’t want to hear it.”

He’s not wrong. When Ellen said being in quarantine is like being in prison, I’d trade her prison for my house any day.
