The Scoop for April 16, 2020

There’s been a lot of talk, and I mean a lot of talk, about the pandemic and COVID-19. To the point where everyone thinks they’re an expert. Including White House adviser Kellyanne Conway.
“This is COVID-19, not COVID-1, folks.”
Two things. First, it’s called COVID-19 because it was discovered in 2019, not because there were 18 viruses before it. And second, Kellyanne Conway is still working at the White House? Who knew?

Well it was bound to happen. CNN’s Chris Cuomo announced yesterday that his wife Cristina has tested positive for COVID-19. But unlike Chris, who had terrible symptoms, with the body aches, the super high fever, and severe headache, his wife is having milder, but different symptoms.
She lost her sense of smell and taste.
No joke here. I honestly don’t know which is worse. I mean, I lost my sense of smell like 10-12 years ago, so if I get it, does that mean I’ll get mine back?

Celebs are jumping on something called the “All In Challenge”. You donate money to America’s Food Fund, and you could score a pretty cool celebrity experience. And all sorts of celebs are jumping in. Ellen Degeneres, Matthew McConaughey, even the Undertaker from the WWE. But one of the biggest is Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro.
The winner gets a cameo in a Martin Scorsese movie staring both Leo and Robert.
Do you think if you win, you get to call them Bob and Leo? Because you know that’s what I would do if I won. Bobby! Leo! Marty! Where’s food services?

Bonus Scoopage:

Check out “Seinfeld” star Jason Alexander singing Billy Joel’s “New York State of Mind”.  He’s also playing the piano.
