The Scoop for April 17, 2020

Here’s something to be happy about, I suppose… Johnny Depp posted his very first Instagram video yesterday.  And it was very Johnny Depp.
“And remember, that today is today, and that’s that… you know?”
We know Johnny. We know. Who let him loose on Instagram? Has he been hanging out with Matthew McConaughey?

You know, it seems a bit disconnected when celebrities say “We’re in this together”, when they’re telling us that from their multi-million dollar mansion. But I think some of them actually get it. Like Julia Louis-Drefus. She seems to be facing some of the very challenges the rest of us are.
She’s gained weight, her pants don’t fit, and her grey roots are showing.
I mean, all that is still going on inside her multi-million dollar home, but still. It’s nice to see some reality coming out of Hollywood once in a while, right?
Besides, I think she’s on my list. Shoe polish in the hair and all.
