The Scoop for April 20, 2021

The Rock’s daughter, Tia, likes action movies. And for her third birthday, she wanted to spend time with her favorite action hero… Jason Momoa.
So, The Rock being awesome, pulled some strings, made a call, and Jason sent Tia a video message for her birthday. Needless to say, I think she liked it.
In a related story, my wife is changing her name to Tia…

NASA was able to fly a helicopter on Mars, which is awesome. But since this is The Scoop you know there’s a celeb tie in… Well, what action star has a movie on Mars and involves a helicopter. Arnold Schwarzenegger. And he just couldn’t resist popping off with a classic one-liner.
Yeah, no one saw that coming Arnie.

We may as well keep with the action hero theme we have going and talk about Vin Diesel’s latest project: “Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots”
I know. It sounds ridiculous, but I think he’ll do great. I mean, his classical toy acting background goes back to the days for Street Sharks.
Remember those? Well, give it a minute. Hollywood will dig these out for a reboot movie, or animated feature, or limited series. It’s only a matter of time.
