So, I thought we’d get some new Prince music tomorrow, on the first anniversary of his death…but apparently that might not happen. (On a side note, saying “anniversary” of anyone’s death seems just plain weird to me… anywho.)
Prince’s estate has sued to stop the release of “Deliverance”, that new EP of unreleased songs that was supposed to come out tomorrow. They say that the producer who’s trying to release it is violating a signed agreement that says the songs belong to Prince. So as of this writing, I’m not sure when or if we’re going to see some new Prince tunes.
