The Scoop for April 24, 2019

So there’s been rumors flying around the internet about Britney Spears and her recent stay at a mentl health facility. She said she needed some me time, but now the internet seems to think she’s being kept there against her will. Well, yesterday Britney posted a message on her Instagram saying she’s doing fine.
Yeah, so I think the internet should take the immortal Chris Crocker’s advice.
Leave Britney alone.

People Magazine has named this years Most Beautiful Woman and it’s Jennifer Garner.
“It’s so silly but it’s nice.”
I think it’s safe to say Jennifer doesn’t know how to take this compliment.
“People Magazine is now a magazine for AARP”
What? Because you’re 47 you can’t be the Most Beatiful Woman? I mean, they didn’t ask for my vote but I’d would argue with their decision.

I’ve been a fan of the band KISS since forever. So it’s surpising when I learn something new about one of the boys. Like this little tid bit from Paul Stanley.
“I was born deaf my right side, and I had a birth defect … basically not having an ear.”
Huh. Maybe that explains the Music From the Elder album. You die hard KISS fans will get that one. I mean I bought it, sure, but still. Not their strongest offering.

(Editors Note: Ok, I’m bashing this album a bit, mostly because it was supposed to be the soundtrack to a fantasy movie that never got released. I don’t think it even got made. But any way. It does hold a place in my KISS loving heart.)

BONUS SCOOPAGE:
According to Ralph Macchio, someone once pitched him a “Karate Kid” sequel that combined the franchise with the “Rocky” movies. Quote, “The concept was to go back to the Balboa and LaRusso lineage in Italy and find that we were somehow related, and that our kids would now team up.”
