The Scoop for Aug. 13, 2018

Tiger Woods is one of the best, most beloved golphers ever. Thius past weekend he sank a 20 foot putt and the crowd went wild. Tiger ended up in second place, so surely the guy who won got an even bigger reaction right? Not so much. Even the announcers called it rather, quote “Ho hum”. Ho hum or not, he took home the winning check so there’s that.

So Omarosa has a book coming out and she’s going around talking about it. Oh, and she claims she recorded all her conversations with President Trump. And now she claims she has heard the rumored “Apprentice” tape where Trump uses the N-word. But her reaction to it is kind of priceless. She said she thinks whoever is behind it is trying to “leverage it” and she wants no part of that.
Of course you don’t. I mean, you’re busy trying to leverage what ever it is you claim to have for yourself. You can’t be helping other people grab 15 minutes.

The Teen Choice Awards showed us why they’re just plain better than other award shows. Take Anna Kendrick. She won two Teen Choice Awards last night and beat out some pretty stiff competition. Ryan Reynolds was up for the same award, and she won… and accepted with dignity, saying “In your face Ryan!”
No self indulgeant speeches, no politics. Just the truth. Know your role Reynolds.

For no reason what so ever,  Josh Brolin sang Happy Birthday to Chris Hemsworth. And it was classic. You can check out the viedo in today’s A Little Bit of Awesome.

Bonus Scoopage:
The rumor mill began to turn again about Idris Elba being the next James Bond after director Antoine Fuqua brought up his name in a recent interview about the film. Fuqua said he spoke to the Bond film producer Barbara Broccoli and told her that it was time for an actor of color to play the role. But then Fuqua’s representative released a statement to The Hollywood Reporter stating that that conversation with Broccoli never took place.
And Elba hopped on Twitter Sunday to say “Don’t believe the HYPE.”
Not gonna lie, I would love to see Idris as 007.
